About this Course

This beginner-friendly course introduces kids to music production through fun, hands-on lessons using professional software and sounds. Kids will learn the fundamentals to build beats, use industry standard software, and create music using professional tools. Students will complete their first track and take home a version to share. Materials fee of $40 payable at time of registration for use of in-class Macbook, Ableton Live Suite, industry standard plugins, templates, and sample packs. Students will receive a 4-month Splice membership (with opportunity to continue with a discounted subscription) and a USB flash drive loaded with sample packs, templates, and Ableton presets to keep!
