About this Course

dive into the vibrant world of gouache painting—a fun, flexible medium that combines the best of watercolor and acrylic! In this class, you’ll learn how to paint beautiful landscapes using bold colors, layering techniques, and playful brushwork. We’ll work on a step-by-step project together, so you can paint along and get hands-on practice as you explore brushstrokes, tone, and color combinations. Whether you are brand new to painting or just curious about gouache, this class is perfect for all levels—no experience needed! Materials for This Class To get the most out of the class, here’s what you’ll need: Gouache paints – A basic set with primary colors plus black and white (we recommend Winsor & Newton brand) Paintbrushes – Suggested brushes include: • ½ inch angle shader • ¼ inch filbert • Size 8 round • Size 2 round Watercolor paper – 120 lb or heavier Mixing palette – For blending those bold colors!
