About this Course

Come and learn contemporary and traditional West African drumming that will empower you on a lifelong drumming path. Participants will be introduced to the Djembe and learn or refine basic Djembe drumming patterns such as bass, tone and slap. Participants will also learn sounds and songs, start and stop signals in a supportive peer learning environment. Class culminates into a fun-filled participant performance at the end of the last session. Drums will be provided with material fee. Materials Fee: $30.
