About this Course

Learn how to mix music, beatmatch, and build a DJ set! Students will get hands-on experience using DJ gear and software to create smooth transitions and live performances. Interactive class teaches the basics of DJing using DJ controllers. By the end, students will be able to perform a short set and understand core mixing techniques. Materials fee of $40 payable at time of registration for use of in-class Macbook, headphones, Rekordbox software, FLX 2 DJ controller, USB music library, and instructional handouts. Students will take home a USB flash drive with 100+ song library!
