About this Course

*** Please note: Student supervision is not provided after school dismissal and before the start of the program. Parents/guardians will be responsible for their student during this time. If you have any questions or if this requirement prevents your student from participating, please contact info@lgsrecreation.org *** *** Minimum enrollment must be met in order for this program to run on schedule. Please register at least 1 week before the start of the program. *** Students will learn to play tennis on portable nets set up on blacktops and low compression tennis balls. Engaging games and activities are incorporated to enhance their skills and make the learning process fun! It's important to note that many of the students in these classes have had limited exposure to tennis. Our goal is to inspire a love for the sport and encourage them to seek further instruction on real tennis courts. Rackets will not be provided but the following recommendations are given: 21 inches (ages 4-6), 23 inches (ages 6-8), 25 inches (ages 8-11). NO CLASS: 4/12, 4/26.
