About this Course

This dance class is comprised of beginning and intermediate Hula/Polynesian Dance students who desire a “non-competitive” learning environment. Teaching basics of Hawaiian Hula for beginner and intermediate hula students, basic info about Polynesian culture, background and language. Hula/Polynesian Dance I/II students are also able to participate in performances during the year. Students should have a pa’u skirt (Hula) and pareo (Tahitian) for this class. ADULT Materials Fee: $50-75 for pa'u skirt paid to instructor. Instructor: Desiree Elder *NOTE: on 8/6 - 8/20 class will be at the Los Gatos Adult Recreation Center in the Large Hall, 208 E Main Street, Los Gatos, CA
