About this Course

Don't miss out on this youth art mural project! Learn basic art techniques, walk to local Los Gatos landmarks, explore the rich history of Los Gatos, and create a one-of-kind painting to be on display at the Forbes Mill footbridge. By the end of the week students will have completed an art piece reflecting the theme “ Capturing Life in Los Gatos" that will be digitally photographed, printed, and installed at the Forbes Mill footbridge. For Los Gatos Youth grades 3-9. NUMU is proud to offer this program in partnership with Los Gatos - Saratoga Recreation, the Town of Los Gatos, and the Los Gatos Arts Commission. Returning students welcome. Each student may have no more than 2 artworks on the bridge at the same time. Details - A required Artwork Agreement must be signed by parents/guardians by the end of the camp. Forms will be available upon drop-off/pick-up. - There will be a lot of walking, around the Town of los Gatos, during the first few days of the camp. - Masks are mandatory during the full duration of program for all participants. - Each participant will be provided with a sanitized kit of supplies to be used during the program. A materials fee of $50 is due on the first day of the program. Participants should bring their own water bottles & snack. Sunscreen is recommended and personal hand sanitizer is optional as we will have some available. Instructor: NUMU staff
