About this Course

Learn to Horseback ride this summer! This fun camp will teach you how to groom and saddle, lead and tie, mount and dismount, and ride a horse. This camp is Perfect for the horse-crazy kids, and any child who likes to be outdoors and around animals. You will learn the basics of walk/trot with control and form, and maybe even a little canter! The morning will include riding lessons, trail rides, vaulting (gymnastics on horseback) and ground work. At the end of the session you will groom your horse and clean up after it. There is team-building activities, equine games, lots of fun and learning! On the last day, parents are welcome to come and watch. Please wear long pants, riding boots or closed-toed shoes. We will provide the helmets.
