About this Course

This STEM camp is designed for campers who want to dive into the world of marine science, technology, and operations with the Seafloor Science and Remotely Operated Vehicles (SSROV) team. Our hands-on camp makes learning fun as campers discover the scientific method, seafloor biology and geology, engineering practices, and technologies used for deep-sea exploration. Interactive activities include rovers, underwater ROVs, sensors, plankton, sonars, scientific drilling, deep-sea biology, and more. As an ocean explorer, campers will engage in teamwork activities that develop leadership skills, cultivate creative solutions to technical problems, and appreciate a range of discoveries and operations centered around our unique underwater world.
