About this Course

This is the first level of our three-part JR Guard Leadership Program. The introductory level provides young swimmers basic lifesaving training, foundational leadership skills, and water rescue experience. By the end of this course, participants will be able to quickly respond to emergencies in aquatic environments. Participants completing this course are eligible to register for our JR Guard Cadets as part of level 2 in the leadership program. Participants must be strong swimmers.
