About this Course

Introduction to proper stretching, students will train in a variety of stances, blocks, punches, kicks, self-defense, forms(kata), sparring (kumite), and instruments (escrima sticks), as well as combination, techniques. -Prerequisites: Class is suitable for beginners over 8 years old and students who have met requirements from Chang Tai Do Karate Tots classes. The instructor will inform students if they meet the requirements to advance to the next level class. Additional testing fees are required during class. See instructor for details. Uniform and Sparring equipment and must be purchased from the instructor. Custom Individual Sparring Gears you will be receiving headgear with face shield, mouthpieces with the case, chestguard, arm & fist protector, shin & instep protector, 2x escrima sticks, a custom bag to hold gear, and for male students groan protector.
