About this Course

Estero Americano is a State Marine Area on the northern edge of Marin County. This pristine estuary offers protected paddling with beautiful scenery, wildlife and interesting history. The only way to access the slough is by small boat and the meandering water enters a fjord-like landscape before it reaches the beach. Spend the night in nearby Bodega Bay or Sebastopol and make a weekend out of it. This course has a Kayak Equipment materials fee of $60 per person for kayak and paddling gear rental.
