About this Course

The fee for this class includes the registered child and one parent/guardian. This is a great activity to spend with your child while learning to sail together as a team on beautiful and peaceful Vasona Lake. Our easy to sail, 14-foot Catalina Capri sailboats make for a wonderful and memorable experience and this is sure to be one of your favorite activities together! Learn basic sailing skills, sailing terminology, docking, boating safety, and much more, all in a safe environment. PFDs are provided and required. Students must have basic swimming and water safety skills. A parking fee is required for cars staying after 1/2 hour. No parking fee is collected for drop-offs. Classes held at Vasona County Park and Lake: 333 Blossom Hill Road, Los Gatos, CA. Instructor: LGS Recreation Boating Staff. Fee is for one parent/guardian & one child.
