Learn to paint watercolor on Yupo (Synthetic Paper). Experiment with fun techniques on synthetic paper. But what exactly is Yupo? Yupo is a synthetic paper that is tree-free. It is a waterproof, tear-resistant, very durable, smooth, and 100% recyclable paper. The water and pigment do not absorb into the paper so it allows you to manipulate the paint until the water evaporates creating super fun watery textures. It is an ideal medium those who want to experiment with less traditional watercolor techniques. Basic materials for this class Yupo paper (pads are the best option) Watercolor set of paints Brushes size 4, 8 round brushes and a size 4 filbert brush Small palette Q- tips Paper towels Masking Tape Water container Wash cloth A more detailed list of materials will be provided when you sign up for the class.
