About this Course

Come out to beautiful Vasona Lake and take a sailing course on one of our Catalina Capri sailboats. You'll enjoy four hours on the water (two hours each day), and get plenty of hands-on training including open water sailing, docking, sailing terminology, boating safety, and much more. In this course we use 14ft Catalina sailboats, which are very responsive, stable, and easy to sail. It's always best to learn the basics of sailing on a boat like the Capri because it is not intimidating and gives students a much better feel for the wind. PFDs are provided and required. Students must have basic swimming and water safety skills. Parking fee is required for those cars staying after 1/2 hour. No parking fee is collected for drop-offs.
