This dance class is comprised of Beginning and Intermediate hula students who desire a "non-competitive" learning environment. Students will be taught the basics of Hula dance, along with basic information on culture, history, and language. Regular attendance and practice for this class provide a low-impact aerobic workout, helps with coordination, grace, and memory - all while you have fun and learn something new! Hula I/II students are also able to participate in performances during the year. Students should have a pa'u skirt or pareo for this class. Materials fee of $35-50 payable to instructor at the first class meeting for the skirt. Class meets at Joan Pisani Community Center. NO CLASS: 08/12
