About this Course

This is an online class. Do you believe that an estate plan is for you? Do you have a will? A Health Care Directive? A Trust? What’s the difference between all of those documents? Which documents should you absolutely have in place? We will discuss the essential documents for a basic estate plan. If you have lost a loved one, or know someone who has, do you know what your next steps should be? We will talk about retitling accounts, clearing title to real property and transferring motor vehicles. We will address the differences between dying with a fully funded trust, a properly executed will, and dying without any written estate plan in place. We will cover some of the important first steps to take in the administration of a trust or probate estate. We will also outline some of the steps you can take to avoid some of the potential pitfalls of having no plan in place. This course is a combined course of Estate Planning An Introduction and When Someone Dies… We believe that the tips you'll receive in this workshop will be invaluable. The fee is per couple.
